Julie Cordingley

Writer of scripts for schools aimed at the National Curriculum Key Stage 2 History syllabus

Julie Cordingley is a Junior School teacher who uses drama as a way of allowing her classes to explore historical subjects from the English National Curriculum and other relevant topics.
Her first play to be published by Lazy Bee Scripts is Mrs Clutterbook's War, a full-class drama which weaves themes from the National Curriculum Key Stage 2 History topic on World War 2 into a story with parallel tracks running in the present day and in 1939/40, looking into the way the lives of children were affected by the second world war.
On a different tack, 'I didn't think' is a play for junior schools addressing the subject of bullying.
