"Private Performances" covers a multitude of different
uses. Here we try to make a few of the common distinctions
(Caution: this is the way Lazy Bee Scripts treats the distinctions. Other
rights holders may behave differently.)
- Performance at a private club
(Clubs are "members only" organisations.)
We treat this in the same way as an Amateur Performance
(to the public)
- Performance in a private house
(this usually means members of an extended family performing in front of the rest
of the family)
We treat this in the same way as a Workshop
- Performance at a private event on commercial premises
(e.g. a private function at a hotel, or a company party on company premises)
We treat this in the same way as an Amateur Performance
- Performances by staff to residents of nursing homes or similar
This is a difficult category; we tend to treat these individually, so please
contact us and explain what you intend
