The Story of Harold, the last Saxon king of England, ending with the Battle of Hastings at which Harold is defeated by the army of William Duke of Normandy - William the Conqueror -
and his secret weapon.
Told here in simple irreverent verse and six songs.
Could be done by a cast of 13, but that would leave Harold and William with rather small armies! Very flexible numbers.
Run time: 25 minutes (for a minimalist production), which could be prolongued by fighting!
