This is an adaptation of an old Chinese folk tale, dating back to at least the Tang Dynasty. It balances the traditional tale with an engaging style of dramatization.

Cinderella ends up as a scullery maid, unable to speak, and with the name Linda, and Buttons falls in love all over again. Who can restore the balance of magic and save the day?

He summons an informant and they, along with a bunch of hangers-on and the devilishly handsome Mark Anthony, head off on the trail of the villain. Senna, Caesar's Nanny, dons a variety of disguises to help Caesar, whilst keeping Brutus and fellow conspirators on the wrong track.
