SynopsisAlf, Joe and Walter, all in their 70s, return from the funeral of their old army colleague and neighbouring, allotment holder, Ted. Their immediate concern is who will take over Ted's now vacant allotment. Their worst fears materialise when Sylvia and boyfriend Shadbolt, neither of whom have a clue about gardening, are given Ted's plot. Sylvia seems friendly enough but Shadbolt goes out of his way to be difficult and anti-social. The resulting feud between the old chaps and the loathsome Shadbolt takes a serious turn and they are forced to use their old army tactics to take desperate measures to permanently rid themselves of the obnoxious intruder. In the process they uncover Shadbolt's past and an unexpected connection to Sylvia...

SynopsisHoward Huff and Betty Bristle are the villainous owners of the Shotgun Saloon in Sonora, California. Their ambition is to get rich fleecing the miners in the late days of the California gold rush, but it doesn't seem to be working. Into the bar walk Mary Ann and her daughter, Goldie, looking for work. Goldie immediately displays comic talent and the villains set about disposing of the mother and exploiting the innocent Goldie… Corny jokes and a happy ending ensue!
