A Pig Tale by Kevin Jannetts
Production by Loch Duich Primary School won Adjudicator's special award. South West Ross District Youth SCDA Festival 2016.
RolesMinimum Male roles = 1. Minimum Female roles = 1. Minimum total with doubling = 7. Minimum total without doubling = 7. Chorus. The chorus is the sort that rushes on to perform songs and dances in various guises! Most of the roles are gender-neutral, although one of the pigs is called Maureen and the wolf is called Alan, both of which tend to be specific.

SynopsisThe story of the Three Pigs gets a revamp in this Scots story, allowing a couple of Narrators to bring the story to life with anthropomorphic pigs struggling to find a story they can take part in to keep their deal with a Fairy Solicitor. Add in a Big Bad Wolf called Alan, and it all works out fine in the end.

Pipkin and the Angel by Geoff Bamber
Production by Chelford Junior Players won the Best Junior Play at Chelford Drama Festival 2014 & Best Junior individual Performance (for Cappuccino Angel) at Wilmslow Guild One-Act Play Festival.

Some of the characters are written with specific gender but can be changed very easily. SynopsisA school outing is derailed by mechanical trouble, leading to a night in a barn, where the drama group has to create its own entertainment - the pocket panto. (Pantomime as a play within a play!) Meanwhile there is a staffroom romance afoot (the course of which never does run smooth).

Can he save the Pharaoh's life again?
