Caesar and the Pirates [Short Version] by Nicholas Richards and Timothy Hallett
RolesMinimum Male roles = 8. Minimum Female roles = 1. Minimum total with doubling = 17. Minimum total without doubling = 29. Chorus. Flexible - the pirates roles could easily be shared by a smaller number and other doubling is possible. On the other hand, there is scope for pirate and soldier chourses. Only one specfied female roles but some could be cast female.

But the aptly- named Evil One has hidden the letters in bizarre places, leading the children back through history, around the world, and even into space in their attempts to rebuild their sign. SynopsisSolicitor Jonathan Harker finds himself despatched to Transylvania to sort out a property deal for a mysterious Dr. Acula. On arrival, Harker realises that that he has been the victim of a misprint, but he is so charmed by his welcome that he fails to realise that he has become something of a prisoner. Harker's plight is made more acute by the attentions of the Brides of Dracula, a voracious trio, who appear to have less than honourable intentions. With the improbable assistance of Dracula's servant, Igoretta, Harker escapes and returns to England, where, shortly afterwards, his fiancé finds herself in the company of a mysterious foreign gentleman. Little does she realise what is at stake...
