One in the Eye by Bill Siviter with Lea Anderson

Since the characters include 'William's Army' and 'Harold's Army' the numbers are rather vague (or very flexible, depending on the gloss you want to apply). A Quest for a Nest by Michal Y Noah

However, the narrator's role would be easy to divide amongst a larger number. It would also be easy to add choruses - particularly of ants and rabbits - to join in with the songs.
