StyleOne-act dramatic monologue set in a World War One hospital.
SynopsisA soldier, seriously wounded in the early part of the Great War, relates the horrific experiences which brought him to his hospital bed and his hopes for the future, sadly to be thwarted by events to come.
(The dramatisation allows Tommy to know a little more about the details of the strategy of the First World War generals than he would have known, but not as much as we know with hindsight.)
