Run TimeAround 55 minutes. [Estimated!]
MusicNone.
StyleOne-act play. Simple sets. Very serious subject, but peppered with a wonderful black humour. Contains swearing and adult themes.
SynopsisVasily guards one of the gates into the sealed off Chernobyl Nuclear Power station. Pavel is a Priest sent to tend to the small flock who still live in the shadow of Chernobyl, while Petlova is a prostitute who ministers to Vasily's physical needs.
A great commentary on religion, on attitudes to life, on the after-effects of disasters.... many, many things.
