Where's George (by Gary Diamond & Ray Lawrence)
This is not the result of a systematic customer survey process - the comments are biased: they are what people wanted to tell us!
Our director wore a t-shirt around the village for a couple of months beforehand with the slogan 'Where?s George' to create interest. Needless to say, the play went down very well (We paired it with another play with a similar theme of man still living with his mother) and we made a profit of about ?500. Not bad for two nights in a 100 seater village hall.
