One of the wittiest we'd ever read. It had a strong story line and a great resolution in Act2 sc5. The dialogue was easy to learn and the number of characters was just right for a small group such as ours' There was plenty of visual as well as verbal humour so there was something to be enjoyed byeveryone from tiny tots to grannies and grand-dads. General concensus of the cast was that it was a pleasure to perform.

The play went down well and appealed to a really wide-ranging audience - from 6 year olds to 60 year olds! One of the things we like about your scripts is that they are family friendly - a keyfactor for us in a school with 50 plus nationalities and a number of different belief systems. we really strive to keep 'em clean, as it were, and yet still appeal to elementary, middle and high school children and their parents! We used Hood last year, which also went down very well, and our audience seemed to get the humor better than they did some of the pantomine jokes. we have a big American contingent here, and the panto really comes across as very British! The lengths of the plays are also good - 1 to 2 hours is perfect for us. Keep 'em coming!

What a wonderful script! The entire cast laughed their way through rehearsals. The parts are well balanced in terms of number of lines no one character has to carry the whole thing - which made it easier for both our more expierenced cast and our first t And it's so great to be able to add and or alter bits. We added a mirage sequence when Singbad is out in the desert - with dancing penguins (don't ask!). Our kid chorus LOVED it - in fact even the bigger girls wanted to join the penquins. And altered some lines to fit our village and current events. The cost is super, just right for small compaines like ours with limited space, and so limited audience numbers. This is (I think) our third panto from LazyBee - and will certainly not be our last. some lines to fit our village and current events.
