Don't Mention the Dream (by Damian Trasler)

We have performed this on two occasions now. Once last July in our own village hall and last night at the Shaftesbury Art Centre as part of the Dorset Drama League Festival of One Act Plays. On the whole the humour of the play was well received. The only major difficulty we have had is over the language although mildly offensive it has caused some anxiety. It was an easy play to learn apart from getting your head round all the Shakespeare characters and who ends up with who but once grasped it was a piece of cake. I personally loved playing the role of Lucy - any excuse to get arsey !
