Aladdin [Short Version]AuthorGeoff Bamber
Roles Minimum Male roles = 4. Minimum Female roles = 6. Minimum total with doubling = 20. Minimum total without doubling = 20. Chorus. There is a lot of flexibility available in the casting: it would be possible, for example, to play Aladdin as a pantomime principal boy (played by F) and Widow Twankey as a Dame (played by M).

Music None.
Style Short pantomime (generally, but not exclusively, intended to be played by children). Single set (as simple or complex as you wish). Few props.
Synopsis The Emperor has arranged the marriage of his daughter, Yasmin, to the son of the Grand Vizier. However, Princess Yasmin, Aladdin and the Genie of the Lamp have other ideas.

Aladdin [Small Cast, Short Version]Authortlc Creative
Roles Minimum Male roles = 1. Minimum Female roles = 1. Minimum total with doubling = 4. Minimum total without doubling = 6. No chorus. Designed for a small (or very small) cast (with alternative sections to cover the maximum doubling). Jasmine intended female (optionally doubling with the slave of the ring), Abanaza male (doubling with genie), for the rest, make your own mind up!

Synopsis Penniless wastrel Aladdin falls for Princess Jasmine. To win her, he needs a fortune, and quickly! Enter the evil Abanaza with a scheme involving a lamp, a cave and the odd genie or two...

Roles Minimum Male roles = 3. Minimum Female roles = 3. Minimum total with doubling = 10. Minimum total without doubling = 10. No chorus. As with all such pantomimes, there's a lot of flexibility in the casting - two of the female parts could be played by males as pantomime dames, the hero could be played by a female - the traditional pantomime principal boy.

Style One-Act British Pantomime - visual jokes, verbal jokes and a little vulgarity. Fairly complex sets for a short piece (but this is pantomime and the sets are flexible too!)
Synopsis Sinbad the Sailor sets out to thwart the designs of Blackbeard the pirate and win the hand of the lovely Charlotte. (All this and a fairy too.)

Babes in the Wood [Short Version]AuthorGeoff Bamber
Roles Minimum Male roles = 6. Minimum Female roles = 5. Minimum total with doubling = 20. Minimum total without doubling = 22. Chorus. The chorus (Captain Sprague's crew) is optional. There are nominally four police constables, but these could be increased or decreased in number.

Music There are opportunities for songs and dances, but no specific songs suggested in the script. Lazy Bee Scripts does not supply any sheet music with this script.
Style One-act comedy (somewhere near an English pantomime, but not exactly that!) for kids. Nominally 5 locations, but no set requirements, so could be performed without set changes.
Synopsis When prosperous businessman Edwin Merryweather is mysteriously lost at sea together with his wife, Constance, their two children, Lizzie and Tizzy, are placed in the care of their Aunt Lydia and her new husband, Lemuel Viper.
Viper has his sights set on the Merryweather fortune but he cannot get his hands on that while Lizzie and Tizzy are alive. He hatches a plot to have the girls done to death in Spooky Wood but the ineptitude of the hired killers, the interference of a posse of belligerent elves and the appearance a rather sinister old lady ensure that his plans do not run smoothly.

Captain Hook's RevengeAuthorRichard Coleman
Roles Minimum Male roles = 6. Minimum Female roles = 7. Minimum total with doubling = 18. Minimum total without doubling = 24. Chorus. Dame assumed to be played by Male, Principal Boy (Peter Pan) by Female.

Style British Pantomime. Slapstick and silliness, lots of jokes and a crocodile.
Synopsis Captain Hook plots his revenge on Peter Pan, with the help of a crocodile and a poisoned cake. Peter Pan, Tonkerbell (the punk fairy) and the crocodile have other ideas. (Follows much of the plot of Peter Pan, but has more collisions with trees.)

Cinderella [Version 3]AuthorPeter Bond
Roles Minimum Male roles = 4. Minimum Female roles = 3. Minimum total with doubling = 18. Minimum total without doubling = 29. Chorus. Traditionally, the ugly sisters (Sharon and Tracy, in this case) would be played by chaps and prince charming would be played by a girl - but this is optional, so make up your own mind about who does what! Includes rats, mice, horses and a bear!

Music The producer's copy of the script includes some song suggestions, with lyrics written to fit the show. (These include a song about tea to the tune of Land of Hope and Glory.) Lazy Bee Scripts does not supply any sheet music with this script.
Style Mid-length British Pantomime.
Synopsis A poor girl is downtrodden by her mean Stepmother and hideous stepsisters. Luckily for her, she has a Fairy Godmother on her side and a handsome prince waiting in the wings!

Roles Minimum Male roles = 4. Minimum Female roles = 4. Minimum total with doubling = 15. Minimum total without doubling = 21. Chorus. The ugly sisters could be played male or female. The Prince is assumed to be played male, but could be played female as a Principal Boy.

Style Jokey, knowing telling of the familiar story, with entertaining plot twists and strong characterisation. Not strictly a pantomime, but can be played as one. Written to be played by children but appeals to all ages.
Synopsis Self-obsessed prince meets upwardly-mobile kitchen maid, bent on escaping from dreadful relatives. Cinderella has a ball and the plot has a twist.

Roles Minimum Male roles = 2. Minimum Female roles = 4. Minimum total with doubling = 13. Minimum total without doubling = 13. No chorus. The usual panto juxtapositions apply. Two actors are assumed for Daisy, the pantomime cow.

Synopsis The evil Sherriff is looking for a beautiful woman to marry and wants Maid Marion, but her bandit boyfriend, Eric Hood, won't hear of it. Can Buttons fool the Sherriff long enough to allow Eric and his outlaws to storm the castle? All this and a psychic cow!

Synopsis The villainous Mondays seem to be behind a spate of cow-nappings that have depleted local herds. Now the only cow left is the amazing Daisy, whose milk has magical restorative powers. Can our heroes keep Daisy safe from the villains and sort out their love lives into the bargain?
