1001 Arabian Nights and a matineeAuthortlc Creative
Roles Minimum Male roles = 3. Minimum Female roles = 6. Minimum total with doubling = 13. Minimum total without doubling = 17. Chorus. Characters include a pantomime camel. Dame assumed to be played by male, principal boy by female.

Style British Pantomime. Slapstick, visual jokes, puns, mayhem and a camel.
Synopsis There's trouble brewing in old Baghdad! Unless the Princess Jasmina marries before her 21st Birthday, the evil Vizier will take control of the city! Things look grim... but hang on! A posse of would-be heroes are here to save the day! The love sick Ali Barber (who pines for the Princess), his dim witted brother Singbad the sailor and his fearsome mother, Dame Barber are ready to intervene and foil the villain's fiendish plot. They are helped along the way by their pal 'Bob' (a lad with a secret), a pantomime camel named Humpy and a lady Genie who's been stuck in a magic ruby for far too long!

A 21st Century NativityAuthorPeter van der Sluijs

Music The producer's copy of the script suggests six carols to be interspersed between the scenes. (These would increase the run time to up to 30 minutes.) Lazy Bee Scripts does not supply any sheet music with this script.
Style Short nativity play (though considerably longer if the suggested carols are sung), with optional traditional nativity tableau. Six scenes, but minimal set requirements.
Synopsis What would the story of the birth of Jesus be like if it were to happen now?

Synopsis The Wicked Witch has changed the endings to all the Fairy Tales so that evil will triumph, and she's kidnapped the Fairy Queen to stop her reversing the spell. Only Hansel, Gretel and Paddy the Gingerbread man can save the tales.

A Fishy School

Will Old Trout help him and who really is she? Can the stickleback teachers teach the tiddlers? Will the staff room run out of coffee?

Synopsis After the assassination of Julius Caesar, Rome is ruled by a triumvirate, locked in a struggle for power. Mark Antony is beguiled by Cleopatra, the Egyptian Queen, and neglects his duties in Rome. Eventually, there is open warfare between Antony and Octavius Caesar. Antony loses, and Cleopatra takes her own life (with the aid of literature's second most famous snake.)

Synopsis In the early days of the Roman republic, Caius Martius Coriolanus is a brilliant Roman General, but contemptuous of the civilian population. After a successful military campaign against the Volsces (an Italian tribe), Coriolanus runs for Consul. He is supported by the Senate, but the common people are stirred-up to riot against him. Still contemptuous of the people, Corilanus is exciled from Rome and takes his revenge by leading the Volsces against Rome. His mother intervenes and persuades him to sign a peace treaty. Unfortunately, his Volscian allies see this as a betrayal, and Coriolanus pays the price.

Synopsis Henry IV is at odds with his nobles, even those who helped him usurp Richard II. Meanwhile his son, Prince Hal has absentend himself from court and is spending his time in taverns with Sir John Falstaff and his clique. Things come to a head with a rebellion, led by Harry Hotspur and at last the dissolute Prince Hal proves himself a warrior.
