A Fairy Tale AdventureAuthorSophia Holder

Style Family show, an alternative to British Pantomime, including some similar elements such as audience interaction. (Either a long one-act play, or a short two-act!)
Synopsis The Wicked Witch has changed the endings to all the Fairy Tales so that evil will triumph, and she's kidnapped the Fairy Queen to stop her reversing the spell. Only Hansel, Gretel and Paddy the Gingerbread man can save the tales.

A Grimm Night for Hans Christian Andersen (Play)AuthorSue Gordon

Lots of speaking parts, but few characters per scene so easy to structure small rehearsals. Whilst it does not require a chorus, there is scope for extra characters in a few of the scenes.

Style Comic retelling of fairytales - many scenes, but using the same few pieces of 'set furniture'. Simple props.
Synopsis Hans Christian Andersen gets an unexpected visit from the Brothers Grimm - who seem to be upset over the matter of stealing story lines. A competition ensues, with characters from Andersen and Grimm stories taking the stage - often in unexpected ways.

Synopsis Fairies make mischief in the Athenian woods, mixing up two couples and pairing the fairy queen with one of the 'Rude Mechanicals' who are in the woods rehearsing a play. When all is straight, we finally get to see the Mechanicals' play, and the Athenian nobility turn critics.
The text aims to provide a workable edition of Shakespeare for secondary schools.

Synopsis When faded theatrical diva, Corrina Marcham, senses that she is in great danger, she calls in Detective Inspector Trench to investigate a murder that has't been committed yet - her own. With the suspects, marooned at the Marchams' isolated country house because of a storm, Corrina ensures that Trench's journey has not been wasted by conveniently dying. Has Corrina simply died of fright after an alarming Tarot card reading? Has she committed suicide in a bout of thespian depression, or has she really been murdered? And by who? Somebody with something to gain? Somebody with something to hide? Or simply somebody she had upset? Can Trench and the eager PC Pendlebury uncover the truth before they have to call in somebody else to do it properly?

Synopsis A collection of sketches, including opening and closing songs, five Great Moments from History, two French Lessons, three monologues, a very small circus, the ante-rooms to the after-life, a spoof of a medical soap opera, a martial arts demonstration and the Dead Carrot sketch. During those two weeks, Elliot Steinway, the TV detective (or rather, Donald Smart, the actor who portrayed him) must unmask the murderer and win the fortune for himself. Aided only by the solicitor and his faithful sidekick Badger, he struggles through labyrinthine plots to get to the truth... probably.

Style Full-length school musical based on Jules Verne's novel. By the nature of the story, there are a lot of locations, but these can be presented in as simple or complex a way as you please.
Synopsis Phileas Fogg accepts a wager to travel around the World in Eighty days. Armed with only Passepartout (his trusty French manservant) and pursued by a detective, he sets out, venturing via Egypt, India (where he acquires a princess!), Japan and the USA.
