Spencer Elizabeth Wareing is a playwright, performer, and theatre artist whose work centers young voices, emotional nuance, and the intersections of identity and imagination. Their writing blends heartfelt storytelling with elements of the fantastical, often using metaphor and magical realism to explore real-world experiences — especially those tied to growing up, grief, and self-discovery.
Spencer is passionate about stories that give young performers something meaningful to say — and that challenge audiences to see the world, and each other, more deeply. They are currently pursuing their BFA in Acting and BS in TV/Film at Southeast Missouri State University's Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance, where they serve in leadership roles that reflect their commitment to education, equity, and the arts. |
