Writing
Daniel began writing at the age of fourteen and since his career has seen three development workshops by Young At Heart Theatre of LITTLE RED, with additional music by George Suddaby, the new musical is due to be toured soon. He also co-wrote FEATHERED, a World War 1 production which enjoyed a successful 2014 regional theatre in education tour. In October 2015, Daniel made his publishing debut with TRANSFUSION, a one act play exploring love, family and gay blood donation, now available for physical purchase and performance licensing through Lazy Bee Scripts. BEATEN PATHS recently underwent a three month long development period, followed by a two-night performance run and is currently under further development. Daniel is currently also working on his new two-act play, HIDDEN IN A BOX, exploring families, grief, the transgender community and secrets.

Acting
Daniel has participated in numerous high profile professional acting projects. Over the years, he’s worked with well-respected individuals such as award-winning playwright, Haley Cox (Royal Court, Leave Hitler To Me Lad), Gail McIntyre (Refugee Boy, West Yorkshire Playhouse) and Sean Green (Bill Kenwright Company). Daniel’s professional credits include three runs at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including the critically acclaimed PETER PAN which played to sell out audiences in August 2014. Daniel has recently played Frank in the UK Tour and subsequent Edinburgh run of THE GIRL THAT TOUCHED THE STARS for Cardboard Castles. He's also participated in workshop performances in association with the National Theatre and a filming project with the national charity, Samaritans for their DEAL scheme. He continues to work professionally as an actor in various projects alongside his writing career.
