Biography
I’m in my mid-fifties (as of 2024) and am originally from a town called Loughrea in County Galway, Ireland.
I live in Galway City, which is on the Atlantic coast of Ireland.
I did an evening playwriting course at Fishamble Theatre, Dublin City, Ireland in 2008. It consisted of 3-hour weekly sessions for 10 weeks.
I’ve acted in "Reservoir Dogs" in The Town Hall Theatre in Galway City and in "Juno and the Paycock" in The Temperance Hall, Loughrea, County Galway.
As well as "The Fortune Teller" which is available on this website, I have written another 20-minute 1-act play, along with two 50-minute 3-act plays.
My favourite playwrights include Noel Coward, Harold Pinter and Oscar Wilde.
My favourite plays include "The Importance of Being Earnest", "Waiting for Godot", "Private Lives", "The Faith Healer", "The Caretaker" and "Present Laughter".
