Award-winning pantomime writer and performer
Jon Monie has appeared in pantomimes at the Theatre Royal in Bath for over twenty years. Titles he has written for professional productions performed all around the UK include 'Sleeping Beauty', 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs', 'Aladdin', 'Peter Pan - The Return of Captain Hook', 'The Little Mermaid', 'Cinderella', 'Jack and the Beanstalk', and 'Beauty and the Beast' (winner of Best Script at the 2019 Great British Pantomime Awards). Children's plays include 'Captain Birdbrain's Birthday', 'Santa's Magical Gift', 'The Dinosaur That Couldn't Roar', 'To the Moon and Back!', and 'The Gingerbread Boy'. He has also adapted David Walliams' best-selling book 'There's a Snake in my School' for an international and UK tour.
