Natalia Knowlton is a Chilean-Canadian playwright based in London, UK.
In 2020 she was a writer-on-attachment at Oxford Playhouse and in 2021 she participated in HighTide Theatre’s School of HighTide. She holds an MFA in Writing for Stage & Broadcast Media from The Central School of Speech & Drama (UK) and a BA (Hons) in Drama from the University of Alberta (Canada).
In her work, Knowlton has explored Latinx and migrant identity, female sexuality, millennials and internet porn, love and relationships, and virginity.
In the UK, her work has been presented at Oxford Playhouse, Camden People’s Theatre, Theatre 503, The Space, Drayton Arms Theatre, Zoo Venues, Theatre N16, The Bike Shed Theatre, The Acorn Theatre, the Warren at Brighton Fringe and the Central School of Speech & Drama.
In Canada, her work has been presented at Nextfest Festival, Azimuth Theatre, Citadel Theatre, the Edmonton Fringe Festival and the University of Alberta. |
