What's a Murder Mystery Event?
  • The audience members are brought together for a fictitious 'special event' (and encouraged to dress appropriately for the occasion). A murder takes place, which the participants are invited to solve.
  • In this case
    • The setting is a halloween party - so the audience could be invited to come suitably dressed.
    • The cast play out three scenes, during which a murder is uncovered.
    • Led by Detective Inspector De'Ath, the audience has the opportunity to interrogate the suspects and make their accusations before
    • The murderer is revealed in a final scripted scene.
  • This Mystery Needs
    • An 'acting company' of 9 people, including at least 3 men and 5 women
    • One set comprising furniture
  • Estimated run times (which may vary enormously!)
    • Scripted elements: 70 minutes

What's the Mystery Here?
Victor the Vampire has assembled a strange group of dead and undead friends. Tonight they're going to someone else's halloween party. With Victor are:-
A poltergeist named Patti, a recent and reluctant member of the undead.
Winnie, a 17th century witch.
The rather slow Zoe, a zombie.
The improbably named Malcolm, an Ancient Egyptian mummy.
Gillian, the ghost.
The very posh Bella, a Bride of Frankenstein.
William the werewolf.
A dead body and hair-raising revelations spoil the party, and it is down to Detective Inspector De’Ath (and the audience) to solve the crime...

  • A fee of £41.75 for each live performance to an audience (regardless of the audience size)
  • A fee of £41.75 for each livestreamed performance to a paying audience.
  • A fee of £20.88 for each livestreamed performance to a non-paying audience.
