What's an Interactive Murder Mystery?

    • The drama is presented as a radio play, performed live - with the actors working like radio actors, in front of microphones, and members of the company creating live sound effects
    • The actors perform a scripted set of opening scenes, at the end of which a murder takes place. (This is "a company performing a radio play" the audience hear the gun shots, but do not see a corpse!)
    • The acting company mingles with the "audience", answering their questions

What's the Mystery Here?
The radio play (performed on stage in front of old-fashioned microphones) takes place in 1954, in and around Thornbury Manor, home of the Maltravers family.
Caroline Maltravers - Lady of the house - wife of Richard - mother to Alice & Rebecca
Richard Maltravers - Entrepreneur - husband of Caroline - father to Alice & Rebecca
Alice Maltravers - Doctor's Receptionist and daughter. Currently lives with her parents
Rebecca Maltravers - Second-born daughter. Artist and painter, currently living in St Ives
John Cruickshank - Point-to-Point Trainer & Jockey - boyfriend of Alice Maltravers
Susan Taylor - Housekeeper (and nanny to children when young)
Mary Wells - Maid Alan Smith - Gardener/groom/odd-job man/chauffeur
Harold Williams - Doctor
At the end of rhe play, shots ring out as Richard Maltravers is murdered...
