Good Elves Gone Bad by Sue Gordon

Scrooge has a particularly parsimonious attitude to Christmas and this reflects itself his treatment of his long-suffering employees, Bob and Molly Cratchit. In case Jacob's efforts to get Ebenezer to change his ways don't meet with success, he enlists the help of three ghostly friends. Will Christmas still be humbug or will Ebenezer see the light?

The tale is magically brought to life as first St Nicholas and then Santa Claus arrive to tell their stories, with the help of two of Santa's elves.
