Robinson Crusoe - The Truth by James Barry
RolesMinimum Male roles = 3. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 5. Minimum total without doubling = 5. No chorus. We assume that Robinson (the hero) is played by a Female as a principle boy and that Robinson's mother is played a Male as a pantomime dame.

StyleTraditional British pantomime, with jokes, slapstick and plenty of opportunities for physical clowning.
SynopsisRobinson Crusoe takes a job on a ship, not realising that the captain is a wicked pirate, seeking treasure. Inevitably, they are shipwrecked, but just when Robinson thinks he's alone on a desert island, his mother and sweetheart come to the rescue.

SCInderella by tlc Creative
RolesMinimum Male roles = 2. Minimum Female roles = 3. Minimum total with doubling = 5. Minimum total without doubling = 6. No chorus. It is assumed that this will be played as a pantomime, with the dame (in this case the ugly sisters) played by a male (doubling as both sisters) and the principal boy (Prince Charming) will be played by a female.

With lots of audience participation, a fairy godmother and, like all good fairytales, a happy ending!

Sleeping Beauty [10 Minute Version] by Jonathan Edgington

It's a good job that roaming adventurers such as the gallant Prince Galliard are on hand to come to the rescue, if required.

SynopsisCarabosse, the wicked witch, sentences the young Princess Aurora to death by spinning wheel, but the good Fairy Sweetheart commutes this to a long boring sleep - a sleep from which the Princess can only be woken by a kiss from her true love. Matters are complicated somewhat by the arrival of a fire breathing dragon.

SynopsisThe traditional story - just. The Queen has an app on her mobile, rather than a mirror. Snow White is a gym enthusiast who is not impressed when the Dwarfs suggest that she's in charge of the housework. Ida No and Noah Dear are two palace servants entrusted with losing Snow White in the forest - they take her there to play Crazy Golf. In the forest lives a Giant Rabbit, with teeth like pitchforks and claws like electric drills. The King is turning his Palace into a theme park with an impenetrable maze. And there's the army - Major Booboo and two soldiers called Not-Here and Nowhere.
