A Stranger's Guide to Panto by Leo Finn
RolesMinimum Male roles = 2. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 6. Minimum total without doubling = 8. No chorus. The numbers in the cast depend on how you deal with the dragon (two people, one person or one doubling with the villain.) Most of the roles - except the Heroine and, because this is panto, the Hero, are written male.

SynopsisThis new panto comes with an Irish folk setting overlaying the Scande-wegian mythology. Odin's two sons Thor and Loki vie for the power to rule the cosmos - through possession of the Stone of Destiny, craftily hidden by the leprechauns. Thor comes down to earth and lands in Dame Gloria's tavern where love blossoms between him and Gloria's daughter Rika - and all's well in the end!

The True Story of Richard Whittington Esq. by Geoff Bamber

SynopsisDick Whittington, an orphan, heads for London to seek his fame and fortune. Accompanied by his faithful cat, known as Cat, he gains employment in the home of Lord and Lady Fitzwarren, where he, predictably, falls in love with the daughter of the house, Miss Honoria. Lord Fitzwarren is beset by debts and the predatory threat of the villain of the story, King Rat, who has designs on claiming the family's home. A fanciful scheme to pay off the debts fails and the Fitzwarrens fall into the clutches of the Rats. As Dick desperately tries to think of a solution, the situation is rescued by Cat, returning from an interesting excursion to foreign parts and now armed with special powers, those of the mystic phenomenon known as the Tsobaki!
