Performance by Palace Players won the Orkney District SCDA one act play festival 2015 and picked-up the Best Moment in Theatre trophy in the Scottish finals.

Revised 2011 to shorten it slightly to a length suitable for one-act play festivals.
SynopsisNovember 4th 1970 - a time for learning to swear, a time for discovering friendship, and a time for earning respect.
Armed with dustbin lids and iron railings, Rachel, Susan and Tommy are prepared to guard their modest bonfire pile against an expected raid by the dreaded Dawson twins. But an even greater danger threatens to engulf them when a member of the group is lured away by the Firework Man.

Bat Out Of Heaven by Frank Gibbons
Short-listed in the Drama Association of Wales Competition 2008.
RolesMinimum Male roles = 1. Minimum Female roles = 5. Minimum total with doubling = 11. Minimum total without doubling = 11. No chorus. Characters are a mix of teenagers and two generations of adults. Could be played by such a mix, or possibly by a youth theatre group. Four table tennis players appear for opening and closing mimes. (The doctor is written male, but could be female.)

SynopsisJessie is the favoured daughter, getting perhaps too much of Mum's interest in her Table Tennis efforts. Her brother is jealous, and things take a turn for the worse when Jessie is diagnosed with leukaemia. Her Mum must admit that she is adopted, and so her brother Rob cannot be a marrow donor. Rob sets out on a quest to find a donor sibling.
