Unfortunately for the nursery extension, the sports hall and the new church organ, there is an outbreak of tactical voting and the proposal to host the world Scrabble championships wins by a landslide. But never mind all that - the important questions are: can Will ever pluck up enough courage to ask Persephone to marry him? and how will his school play turn out?
