A scapegoat needs to be found, quickly, and the company's five most culpable underlings will have to decide amongst themselves which one's career is to be offered in sacrifice. But when the longest serving employee indicates his intention to take the fall on behalf of everyone else, suspicions are heightened, and rightly so, for there is a life-changing leaving settlement up for grabs. Confrontations and accusations abound in this one-act play, which takes a satirical look at middle-management meetings and the fluctuating personal agendas of their attendees. |
