RolesMinimum Male roles = 0. Minimum Female roles = 3. Minimum total with doubling = 3. Minimum total without doubling = 9. No chorus. Characters are a mixture of adults and teenagers, intended to be played by teenagers. For the purpose of showcasing, it could be performed by a cast of three (all female, but playing female and male roles) or a cast of three girls and one boy.

Be Careful What You Wish For by Jon Boustead

Bears Don't Cry by Charles Alverson

StyleA short verse pantomime in three scenes for a small cast.
SynopsisThe Beast is a Prince who had a spell put on him by a witch called Stinkweed. An insensitive Merchant visits his Palace, thinking it is a National Trust property. When the Merchant's daughter comes to stay, she is so obnoxious that the Beast can't wait to be rid of her and ends up marrying Stinkweed.

Beauty and The Beast [Short Version] by Geoff Bamber

StyleOne-act comedy for kids. Several settings but intended to be performed with minimal scenery.
SynopsisJoshua Harcourt faces financial ruin. With a wife, three daughters and a house in the country to support, the outlook is bleak. A chance encounter with a rich and handsome prince looking, as handsome princes do, for true love, provides him with a chance of salvation. All that is needed is for Joshua's youngest and sweetest daughter, Belle, to fall for the prince. Unfortunately this prince has fallen foul of a witch who has turned him into a hideous beast. Can Belle's sweet disposition persuade her to ignore the prince's appearance and can the prince be restored to his former handsome self? As it all ends, as tradition demands, happily ever after, then the answer to both questions must be 'yes'.

SynopsisThe bumbling Manhattan gang, led by Benny Manhattan, get themselves embroiled in double crossings with the Caponi family. A bank robbery runs into difficulties when the Caponi diamond is inadvertently, or perhaps deliberately, included in the Manhattan's haul.
