The innocent local lad, Aladdin, his brother, the cheeky Wishee Washee and their fearsome mother, washerwoman Widow Twankey are ready to intervene and save the day! Throw in a magic carpet, a mystical Slave of the Ring, the Emperor of China, a beautiful princess and a couple of inept police officers and you have all the ingredients for a fantastic tale and great entertainment.

Aladdin [Version 5] by Dave Jeanes
RolesMinimum Male roles = 8. Minimum Female roles = 5. Minimum total with doubling = 21. Minimum total without doubling = 26. Chorus. Aladdin assumed to be a Pantomime principal boy (i.e. played by female), Widow Twankey is a Pantomime Dame (played by a male). After that, make your own mind up!

SynopsisAladdin has seen the princess - but that's forbidden and the palace police are after him (fortunately in the form of Woo and Choo, a pair who make Clouseau look competent). Meanwhile, Abanaza has designs on a certain lamp - and he needs Aladdin's help. That leaves Widow Twankey's laundry understaffed - until she enlists the Emperor!

Along with Ali's brother Cassim and girlfriend Morgiana, they must find the stolen treasures and defeat the thieves, and all before they're evicted and their home turned into a luxury resort for billionaires. It's going to be a busy day.
