Much to the embarrassment and annoyance of wife, Brenda he carries Mum's ashes around with him and is going through the process of taking Mum to all her favourite places. The final location he thinks of is Mum's ultimate dream - but will Shirley agree?

Whilst grieving the loss of his wife, the narrator is determined to finish the renovation, despite it clearly being beyond his capabilities.
