Forty-Two by Amanda Giles

StyleShort comedy play for a couple of pieces of furniture, four actors and the gentle voice of a phone app. (British English, using 'lounge' for 'living room' and including slang for a cigarette which might confuse speakers of other varieties of English.)
SynopsisJemima has just woken up from her meditation cd session to find three strange men in her living room. Well, not men, they're angels, summoned by the cd she has just listened to. They have answers for Jemima, but she won’t like them...

Gabriel-Ernest by Tony Best

StyleA one-act stage adaptation of a subversive Saki story - this one is edgy, verging on (gothic) horror. There are nine scenes, intended to be played seamlessley with the stage divided into one area for a house and one for all other scenes.
Synopsis'There's a beast in your woods.'
So it seems. Van Cheele's life is interrupted by the arrival of a strange boy, with disturbing behaviour and an unusual disregard for clothes.
(The author makes some suggestions about how to deal with this last point whilst remaining within the bounds of decency!)

Handstands For You by Adam Exton

SynopsisWhen Billy was five, his best friend was Gemma, but she moved away. Now Billy's thirteen, he's got a new best friend in Ronald, but he also has leukaemia. Gemma moves back to the neighbourhood and the three have to find space for each other.
