SynopsisIt's a Mediaeval Re-enactment Society, so the constitution is based on feudalism. King Duncan is about to abdicate (to nurse his hernia) and has the right to appoint a successor. The choice comes down to Sir Roger, who has a pedantic obsession with the detail of mediaeval combat and Sir Eric, who wants to be Errol Flynn playing the Black Prince. And, with the connivance of Queen Veronica, it comes down to trial by combat.
