SynopsisMarushka, the young stepdaughter of a widow, is always being ordered around and berated when she questions her stepmother's unreasonable requests. As punishment, her stepmother asks her to leave the house in January and only return when she has found a bunch of Violets - flowers which only grow in April. She dutifully acccepts, only to stumble upon the meeting-place of the twelve months of the year. They agree to help her, but when she returns with violets, her stepmother has more tasks for her...

SynopsisSome college students return home with a few extra pounds, tattoos, or disappointing grades, but when 18 year old Irene McManus returns to her conservative southern household with her new boyfriend Tommy, things get messy between her and her mother, Delia. She doesn't disapprove of Tommy because he's ill-mannered or bad with words. The fact that he's dead, however, whips the prim matriarch into a frenzy. Can Irene convince her mother to accept her zombie boyfriend? Or will Delia convince her daughter that zombie boys are only after one thing: her brains?
