SynopsisSinbad wants to marry Shaheen, daughter of the Caliph of Warezit, but there are a few obstacles. For a start, there's the villainous Al Capone and his evil genie, then there's the quest the Caliph has set. Sinbad has to bring back a rok (a dangerous giant bird), braving shipwrecks, a whale, sharks and pirates on the way.

Then there are the problems with the apple seller and the handsome prince.

A couple of salesmen ('this cloth ... can only be seen by people of above average intelligence') give away her whereabouts, and her stepmother comes to call. Fortunately a hero is on hand to save the day.

Stinkerbell by George Douglas Lee

Tinkerbell, we all know about, but did you hear of her less famous sister?
Yes, we're firmly in Neverland territory, but with enough mayhem to make J.M. Barrie walk the plank!

When Councillor Purslove makes them redundant they're desperate for work and are grateful to Dick Whittington for using them in his TV commercials. But when he plans to privatise their well and employ them at starvation wages they take matters into their own hands.
