It's Panto, Boris - But Not As We Know It by Cheryl Barrett

Jack and his Amazing Multi-Coloured Beanstalk by Geoff Bamber

Jack and Jill by Susan Vesey

An unusual set of characters, including two fairies, three ducks, innumerable ducklings and Dobin the pantomime horse. (The duckling roles in particular are suitable for younger children.)

SynopsisWidow Winkle is unable to pay the rent to Baron Badbottom whose daughter, Jill, thinks Jack Winkle is really a prince and so wants to marry him. Unable to raise any funds, Jack tries to contact the Water Fairy he thinks lives in the well. Stan Winkle has, meanwhile, called on the Bag Fairy for help. But, the Baron has acquired the very last wish in the land, and they have to work out how to get it off him to make all their dreams come true.

Their mission takes them first to the local waterworks, and then on a trek across Egypt.

SynopsisJack keeps dreaming of the missing Princess Lima, meanwhile Granny Bean is falling into debt to the villainous Squire. Jack sells their cow for a handful of beans, but the resulting beanstalk takes him to the realm of Hugh Mungus, the giant, where he rescues the missing princess.
