A Stranger's Guide to Panto by Leo Finn
RolesMinimum Male roles = 2. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 6. Minimum total without doubling = 8. No chorus. The numbers in the cast depend on how you deal with the dragon (two people, one person or one doubling with the villain.) Most of the roles - except the Heroine and, because this is panto, the Hero, are written male.

Stromboli the Puppet Master by Richard Coleman
RolesMinimum Male roles = 5. Minimum Female roles = 8. Minimum total with doubling = 18. Minimum total without doubling = 25. Chorus. Principal characters nominally adults (give or take a wooden puppet and a cat). Chorus could be mixed adults and children.

StyleMagic, evil villains, jokes and a talking cat. An unconventional pantomime (without a doe-eyed heroine).
SynopsisGeppetto makes Pinocchio, whom the Blue Fairy brings alive. Pinocchio is tricked into joining Stromboli's puppet show. He overhears Stromboli's plan to marry, then kill the Duchess Chloroform, so Stromboli must get rid of him. Pinocchio escapes, and Stromboli chases him into the wood, where the Weird Sisters protect him and get their revenge on Stromboli. Pinocchio, achieves his greatest wish to become a real boy. Everybody is happy - Hurrah!

Thor And The Stone Of Destiny by Owen Lightburn

SynopsisThis new panto comes with an Irish folk setting overlaying the Scande-wegian mythology. Odin's two sons Thor and Loki vie for the power to rule the cosmos - through possession of the Stone of Destiny, craftily hidden by the leprechauns. Thor comes down to earth and lands in Dame Gloria's tavern where love blossoms between him and Gloria's daughter Rika - and all's well in the end!

Treasure Island by Tina & Robert Burbidge

Surprisingly, the cast is dominated by women (including the ship's crew). Joanna is a pantomime dame (assumed to be played by a male - though this isn't necessary) and Jim is a pantomime principal boy (assumed female!) Includes a Pantomime Parrot!

SynopsisPirate captain - Long Joan Silver, is assisted by idiots Fore and Aft and an ever-growing parrot, in her dastardly attempts to wrest the treasure from our heroes. Dame Molly helps Jim Hawkins and the Squire in their battles with pirate Joan, and are ably assisted by Coral, the fairy of the Isle of Fright. In this fast-moving panto the baddies are thwarted and everyone lives happily ever after.

The True Story of Richard Whittington Esq. by Geoff Bamber

SynopsisDick Whittington, an orphan, heads for London to seek his fame and fortune. Accompanied by his faithful cat, known as Cat, he gains employment in the home of Lord and Lady Fitzwarren, where he, predictably, falls in love with the daughter of the house, Miss Honoria. Lord Fitzwarren is beset by debts and the predatory threat of the villain of the story, King Rat, who has designs on claiming the family's home. A fanciful scheme to pay off the debts fails and the Fitzwarrens fall into the clutches of the Rats. As Dick desperately tries to think of a solution, the situation is rescued by Cat, returning from an interesting excursion to foreign parts and now armed with special powers, those of the mystic phenomenon known as the Tsobaki!
