The Pied Piper of Hamelin [Version 2] by Hilary Mackelden
RolesMinimum Male roles = 3. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 22. Minimum total without doubling = 27. Chorus. Most of the characters are written male, but this is panto and nobody will mind if genders are switched! Chorus of rats, dogs and cats is intended to be played by children,

Hamelin's greedy mayor is up for re-election, and when the town is invaded by rats, he hires a piper to get rid of them, but then he won't pay up.

Pinocchio [Version 5] by Dave Jeanes

SynopsisQuite by chance one day, an unnoticeable log of forest wood is transformed by a magical blue fairy into Geppetto the wood carver’s dearest wish - a son to call his own. But how can a poor wood carver guide the young boy? There are so many things he must learn. Guided by the fairy’s good intentions and helped along by the villagers, Pinocchio gets involved with fire eaters, marionettes, a fox, a cat and a very lazy boy called Lampwick, as he progresses towards his real boyhood. There’s even a giant shark at the end...

Pirates! by Sharon Hulm

Never fear, the Big Bad Wolf is on his way to rescue her from a watery end, so long as he doesn't get peckish along the way!

The Prince and the Pussycat by Jon Dwyer
RolesMinimum Male roles = 4. Minimum Female roles = 5. Minimum total with doubling = 16. Minimum total without doubling = 18. Chorus. Lots of flexibility in the casting. There is no formal role for a pantomime dame, but the Queen could be cast as a dame (as could Primrose!) Likewise, the prince could be played by a female as a pantomime principal boy. Cast includes several mice!

Puss in Boots (Full Cast) by Stuart Ardern

Puss in Boots (Small Cast) by James Barry
RolesMinimum Male roles = 3. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 5. Minimum total without doubling = 6. No chorus. King can double as the Ogre. We assume that Harry (the hero) is played by a man and puss is played by a woman. (But this is pantomime, so make your own mind up!)

Best Seller
  Performance by Huncote Amateur Theatrical Society won several 'Pantomime Alliance' awards in 2008 (including 2nd place in panto of the year).
RolesMinimum Male roles = 3. Minimum Female roles = 4. Minimum total with doubling = 13. Minimum total without doubling = 31. Chorus. The usual pantomime juxtapositions are assumed - the Principal Boy is played by a girl, the dame is played by a man.

SynopsisJack, the miller's son has been left with just the family cat in his father's will and although he has great ambitions it is unlikely he will amount to much! Things soon change with the arrival of his Auntie Hettie and the revelation that Puss can talk (and look pretty fetching in a pair of boots)! Soon Jack, Auntie and Puss are embroiled in a complex scheme to persuade the King and Queen that Jack (masquerading as the Marquis of Carabas) is suitable husband material for the beautiful Princess. But first they will have to contend with a jealous noble suitor a pair of dastardly henchmen, and a hideous shape-shifting Ogre!
