Due to a mix-up during the night, Mr Jones believes Mrs Brown has tried to murder him, which makes everyone's journey - and the following revelations - all the more uncomfortable.

The Christmas Carol [Version 4] by Anthony Paul Lashley

The author suggests (but does not insist) that when Scrooge is reformed, he might be played by a different actor to emphesise the change! Something for productions to play with.

Marley's ghost is followed by three more spectral visitors, who show visions of Scrooge's past present and future in an effort to show the old skinflint the error of his ways.
