In Act One, Deception, one of the twins is lost as a child and is discovered by his twin brother ten years later, leading a life of love and deceit in a far-off town.In Act Two, Disguise, a twin sister disguises herself as a boy to get the man she loves, only to find that when her identical twin brother shows up, he is mistaken for her. Unfortunately the prospective buyer from Los Angeles, Mrs Delores Van Zuyl, insists on the work being authenticated by an expert. When the expert doesn't turn up David turns to his less than reliable step-brother to fill the gap. What David doesn't know is that Mrs Van Zuyl has her own agenda and it has little to do with French Impressionism.

'Back in the Saddle' is a comedy monologue in which Rita brings the wedding to life for us and we share in her surprise as her re-union with a long forgotten school friend at the reception has unexpected consequences for them both.
