SynopsisAn accident on a caravanning expedition leaves the flighty Mr. Toad with an obsession with motor cars and inflated opinions of his own driving. Despite the attentions of his friends, Toad ends in jail and the stoats and weasels of the Wild Wood take over his house. After Toad escapes, Badger, Mole and the Water Rat set about recapturing Toad Hall.
Kenneth Grahame's children's classic retold as a verse play.

The Star by Annette Cameron

SynopsisThe 3 sibling goats have overgrazed the land on their side of the river and must travel over the bridge to get to the green grass on the other side. Under the bridge lives a troll who charges a toll. There is an opportunity to use the Tinikling style of dance to represent the bridge as two poles held by actors on each end, tapped together in rhythmic cadence while actors dance between the poles to represent crossing.

Best Seller  Performance by Potteries Theatre Co. won the 'Originality and Imagination Award' at the Stoke-on-Trent Festival, 2010.

Whilst there are twenty-five speaking roles, it would be possible to add additional toys and, particularly, rats. (Oh, and while we're at it, the characters include a seagull.)
