The nativity happenings unfold before us as all of the customary human and animal characters come to life with lots of opportunity for children of all abilities to take part. There is even the prospect of a comedy double act as the chickens get into their stride.

SynopsisNoah's family are shocked when the weather forecaster announces the imminent arrival of something called 'rain'. A visit from the Archangel Michael clears things up for Noah, but leaves him with the task of building an Ark - and convincing the animals to come onboard.

A Magic Paint Brush by Gerald P. Murphy

Whilst Chen is written as a girl, the character could easily be switched to a boy (likewise Old Sing and the Magician are written male but could be female). SynopsisThe farmer can't get to market, the driver can't drive him because his truck tyre is flat and there's nobody to take it to the garage. Minny Pinny is only a little girl, how can she help the farmer? How can she make a difference?

SynopsisThe traditional nativity story takes an inventive comic turn, with lazy shepherds, an unlikely group of visitors with Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh, and a bit of confusion over what to call the baby... but all the elements of the traditional story come together in the end. After all, this is how it really happened... well, more or less.
