Rhyming Snow White by Richard Coleman
RolesMinimum Male roles = 1. Minimum Female roles = 2. Minimum total with doubling = 13. Minimum total without doubling = 13. No chorus. Numbers are very flexible. There are nominally seven gnomes (not dwarfs in this version!), but this number could be shrunk or expanded.

StyleA simple, humorous rendition of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves in verse. Minimal set requirements.
SynopsisOn the run from the wicked queen, Snow White becomes housekeeper to a bunch of diminutive miners. The queen finds her and poisons her, but Snow White is saved by a handsome prince. The sort of thing that could happen to anyone.

Sleeping Beauty [10 Minute Version] by Jonathan Edgington
RolesMinimum Male roles = 1. Minimum Female roles = 6. Minimum total with doubling = 9. Minimum total without doubling = 11. No chorus. We've assumed that all the fairies are female and that the King is male, but it's a pantomime, and you can make your own mind up as to who plays what.

SynopsisThrough a combination of poverty and gormlessness, Jack sells the family cow for a handful of magic beans, from which grows a beanstalk reaching to the clouds. Up climbs Jack, with girlfriend Nancy, and at the top they find a giant, a goose, a golden egg and a lot of trouble!

She stays there until she is visited by a handsome prince and the audience is visited by an unexpected plot twist!

Panto Question Time by Sue Gordon

The characters are all nominally adults, but could be played by children. Having a pantomime theme, it would be entirely possible to play one or more of the female characters as a pantomime dame (i.e. played by a male)
