| Synopsis | When prosperous businessman Edwin Merryweather is mysteriously lost at sea together with his wife, Constance, their two children, Lizzie and Tizzy, are placed in the care of their Aunt Lydia and her new husband, Lemuel Viper.
Viper has his sights set on the Merryweather fortune but he cannot get his hands on that while Lizzie and Tizzy are alive. He hatches a plot to have the girls done to death in Spooky Wood but the ineptitude of the hired killers, the interference of a posse of belligerent elves and the appearance a rather sinister old lady ensure that his plans do not run smoothly. |
