SynopsisThere's trouble brewing in old Baghdad! Unless the Princess Jasmina marries before her 21st Birthday, the evil Vizier will take control of the city! Things look grim... but hang on! A posse of would-be heroes are here to save the day! The love sick Ali Barber (who pines for the Princess), his dim witted brother Singbad the sailor and his fearsome mother, Dame Barber are ready to intervene and foil the villain's fiendish plot. They are helped along the way by their pal 'Bob' (a lad with a secret), a pantomime camel named Humpy and a lady Genie who's been stuck in a magic ruby for far too long!

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves by Stuart Ardern
RolesMinimum Male roles = 2. Minimum Female roles = 3. Minimum total with doubling = 21. Minimum total without doubling = 30. Chorus. Comes with the opportunity for the usual pantomime gender juxtapositions. Includes a pantomime camel. There are four named thieves, and the author recommends another six to make up to forty, though it might be possible with fewer!

SynopsisAli Baba falls for the Sultan's daughter and determines to impress her by retrieving valuables stolen by a band of thieves. Unfortunately, the thieves have other ideas. Ali has Salma, the resourceful servant girl, a Genie, a camel with integral SatNav, and, of course, his mother to call on, but what he really needs is an audience to help him win through!

SynopsisFor once the all-conquering Julius is relaxing at home, but action is never far away! One of his court dancers has been turned into a flat cut-out from an Egyptian frieze, and Caesar will stop at nothing to find out who done it - especially if it keeps him away from his wife Calpurnia! He summons an informant and they, along with a bunch of hangers-on and the devilishly handsome Mark Anthony, head off on the trail of the villain. Senna, Caesar's Nanny, dons a variety of disguises to help Caesar, whilst keeping Brutus and fellow conspirators on the wrong track.

Jack And Jill And The Curse Of The Mummy by Ian Cartwright

Their mission takes them first to the local waterworks, and then on a trek across Egypt.

The Silver Nutmeg by Chris Bradley

SynopsisSinbad wants to marry Shaheen, daughter of the Caliph of Warezit, but there are a few obstacles. For a start, there's the villainous Al Capone and his evil genie, then there's the quest the Caliph has set. Sinbad has to bring back a rok (a dangerous giant bird), braving shipwrecks, a whale, sharks and pirates on the way.
