Synopsis:
Three lifelong friends, Pam who is unhappily married, Jane whose marriage appears to be perfect and their batty spinster friend Lily regularly meet for girlie nights in. All of their lives change dramatically over the course of a year after they meet psychic Maureen who takes on the persona of Madam Blavatsky. Has she really predicted these events? Is she genuinely second sighted as Lily believes or is she the charlatan Pam and Jane are convinced she is? The answers to these questions, and more, are to be found in this hilarious look at the lives of these women of a certain age. Their mirthful journey towards a happy ending is tempered with a tender comic treatment of what otherwise could be tragic events.
