Synopsis:
Nellie Scoggins's run-down cottage stands on the Silverwood Estate, presided over by the redoubtable Lady Silverwood - who is planning build a railway line through the said cottage. Nellie finds herself subject to a series of fiendish schemes. But can she avoid losing her home and will the arrival of a mysterious stranger have any bearing on the matter?
