Synopsis:
When mild-mannered civil servant Arthur Mulligan is attacked in the mean streets of London, Sherlock Holmes is called in by Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard to track down the culprit. As Mulligan has been robbed of a series of top secret codes, Holmes needs to apprehend a fiendishly clever adversary - who could make fools not only of Holmes, but the whole of the Metropolitan Police too.
