Style:
Loosely based on Treasure Island - so loosely that Robert Louis Stevenson is probably spinning in his grave. Jokes and puns and a new take on an old story. Not strictly a pantomime, but might be played as one.
Synopsis:
Jim Hawkins, now in possession of the tattered map of a distant tropical island, sees a life of adventure and great riches beckoning but, as the story unfolds, he realises that he is not the only one with an interest in the treasure.
Awards (won by this script or performances of the script):
Performance by Cheshire Academy of Performing arts won the Syd Mence Trophy at the Wilmslow Guild One Act Play Festival may 2011 (for being 'a piece of magic'!)
